Intro to 3D Art |
I liked working with the task board, paper-mache, plaster gauze, plaster, plushie and weaving. I wouldn't mind working with some of these again, but I also want to keep working with new things. I think the most challenging materials were found object and the wire mobiles. I probably won't want to use soap or cardboard again.
When I was making my plushie I had an idea what it was going to look like. Even though it didn't turn out as expected because I didn't sew it good enough I think it still looks good for it being my first time making one. I asked other for their opinions on if I should do one or two button eyes and ended up doing two. I never would have thought that you can use fabric and thread to make an artwork. I didn't think some of these would count as artworks and I'm glad that I'm learning more about them.

I really went out my comfort zone making these 10 artworks/sculptures. I've never worked with most of the things I did and wasn't sure what to do with some of them. I wasn't sure what I was doing on a few of the artworks, so I went online and looked at some examples and asked others for help. Once I figured out what I was going to make, I just went for it and learnt what things work and what doesn't work with each material.
